Steps to Recruitment

2. Attend one “Potential New Member Information Session” 

IMPORTANT

You must register online before attending an information session. At the information session you will receive your recruitment wristbands, which are REQUIRED to go through recruitment and accept your bid

Recruitment Schedule

 

Week One (January 8 - January 14)

 

  • Registration opens!

 

  • Fraternity Involvement Fair (optional, but strongly recommended).

    • Monday, January 9th – 11AM - 4PM at Alumni Hall in HUB-Robeson Center

    • Tuesday, January 10th – 11AM - 4PM at Alumni Hall in HUB-Robeson Center

 

  • Information Sessions – All Sessions this week will be held in 108 Forum

    • Tuesday, January 10th – 7:30PM – Recruitment Chair Information Session – 108 Forum

    • Tuesday, January 10th – 8:00PM – PNM Information Session – 108 Forum

    • Wednesday, January 11th – 8:00PM – PNM Information Session – 108 Forum

    • Thursday, January 11th – 8:00PM – PNM Information Session – 108 Forum

 

Week Two (January 15 – January 21)

 

  • Formal Recruitment “Zone” Events 

  • *Please Note that Red Section Zone Day on Sunday, January 15th will be held at the Health and Human Development Building (HHD) in room 005 from 12:30PM - 4:30PM

    • Sunday, January 15 – Red Section, 12:30PM – 4:30PM*

    • Monday, January 16 – Yellow Section, 4:30PM – 8:30PM

    • Tuesday, January 17 – Green Section, 4:30PM – 8:30PM

    • Wednesday, January 18 – Blue Section, 4:30PM – 8:30PM

    • Thursday, January 19 – Purple Section, 4:30PM – 8:30PM

 

  • Chapters will begin holding their own Recruitment events starting Friday, January 20th

  • There are no information sessions during week two (January 15  - January 21)

 

Week Three (January 22 – January 28)

 

  • Information Sessions – All Sessions this week will take place in 105 Forum at 8PM

    • Sunday, January 22, 2016 – 8:00 PM – PNM Information Session – 105 Forum

    • Monday, January 23, 2016– 8:00 PM - PNM Information Session – 105 Forum

    • Tuesday, January 24, 2016 – 8:00 PM - PNM Information Session – 105 Forum

    • Wednesday, January 25, 2016 – 8:00 PM - PNM Information Session - 105 Forum

    • Thursday, January 26, 2016 – 8:00 PM - PNM Information Session – 105 Forum

 

 

Week Four (January 29 – February 4)

 

  • Bid Extension

    • Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 8:00PM – 10:00PM

 

  • Bid Acceptance

    • ENDS on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 8:00 PM

BID EXTENSION

  • Members of the organization(s) interested in extending you a bid will go in person to your place of residence and hand deliver your bid at the Bid Extension time listed above.

BID ACCEPTANCE

  • You must accept the invitation to join a Fraternity by Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 8:00PM. In order to officially accept your bid, you must come to the IFC Office, located at 218 HUB-Robeson Center. Lastly, you must contact the Head Recruitment Chair from the fraternity of your choice and notify them that you are accepting their bid.
